The Advocacy Navigator Course is an online initiative of AVAC that aims to increase the skills and networking for HIV prevention research advocates.  By pairing learners with seasoned public health and science professionals in the field of HIV/AIDS, the online program promotes both personal and professional growth and provides learners with opportunities for tailored mentorship and professional networking. 

This self-initiated, two-part online course addresses the state of HIV prevention and advocacy is the first step of the Advocacy Navigator Program. The course should take approximately 20-30 hours to complete. Each lesson will take approximately 10-15 hours to complete. All learners will receive tailored mentorship sessions via phone, email or other virtual platform once they complete both lessons.
