About the Instructors:

Dr. Betsy Tolley is a Senior Scientist and Director of a behavioral and social science research group at FHI 360. Betsy has used a range of research methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, scale development and human-centered design approaches) to examine the acceptability of and adherence to a contraceptive, HIV prevention and multipurpose prevention technologies.

Andres Martinez is a Quantitative Social Scientist at FHI 360. Mr. Martinez has more than 10 years of experience providing support to social science researchers in the design and analysis of impact evaluation studies, survey design, instrument testing, data capturing and management, and statistical reporting. He has particular expertise in hierarchical and structural equation modeling, psychometrics, and data visualization. His broad interests are in statistical and data science applications in the behavioral, health and social sciences.
